Rita Cucchiara is Full professor of “Computer Engineering and Science” within the Dipartimento di Ingegneria “Enzo Ferrari” (DIEF) at the UNIMORE, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Italy. She is Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research and Innovation Center AIRI (ex Softech-ICT) of the Modena Technopole co-funded by the Emilia Romagna High Technology Network, under EU FESR programs, an Interdepartmental Center of Research of UNIMORE

Nicola Vitiello

Rector of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies

Nicola Vitiello has been rector of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies since May 8, 2025, for the 2025–2031 term. He is a full professor of Bioengineering and co-scientific director of the Wearable Robotics Lab, where he develops wearable exoskeletons for motor assistance and rehabilitation. He joined the Sant'Anna School as a second-level student (Master's degree) and went on to obtain a PhD in Biorobotics. From there, he began his academic career at the Sant'Anna School. In 2015, he founded the spin-off Iuvo, whose goal is to develop wearable robotic technologies and promote their commercial exploitation in the health technology sector, in industry, and in the consumer market.

Domenico Prattichizzo

Full Professor at University of Siena

Domenico Prattichizzo is Full Professor of Robotics and Automation and Vice-Rector for Technology Transfer at University of Siena, Senior Scientist at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genoa and co-founder of WEART, a startup on Wearable Haptics and Tactile Communication. His researches find their main applications in virtual and augmented reality scenarios and in the rehabilitation of people with upper and lower limbs, visual and cognitive impairments.

Paolo Rocco

Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano

Paolo Rocco is Full Professor in Systems and Control at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches courses in automation and robotics. He is a member of the Board of Governors of Politecnico di Milano, as well as Head of the Systems and Control research area. Prof. Rocco coordinates the MERLIN laboratory, which is active in industrial robotics, physical human-robot interaction, and artificial intelligence applied to robotics.

Alessandro Devo

Co-Founder at Red Lynx

Alessandro Devo, co-founder of Red Lynx, received his Master's degree in 2018 and his Ph.D. in Industrial and Information Engineering in 2022 from the Department of Engineering at the University of Perugia, with research activities conducted within the ISARLab research group. His work has focused on Deep Reinforcement Learning applied to the autonomous navigation of robots and drones, and he has authored several publications in international journals and conferences in the fields of reinforcement learning, computer vision, and robotics. At Red Lynx, a tech company specializing in AI and Robotics for businesses, he leads the development of intelligent systems applied to industrial contexts.
